CreateSubscription

Creates a new subscription for the specified notification type and destination.

Description

The CreateSubscription operation indicates that the specified notification type should be delivered to the specified Destination. Before you can subscribe, you must first register the Destination by calling the RegisterDestination operation.

Note: After you register a Destination, Amazon recommends that you call the SendTestNotificationToDestination operation to verify that you can receive notifications.

Availability

This operation is available in all marketplaces except Mexico.

MarketplaceId The unique identifier for the marketplace. Yes Any valid MarketplaceId that you are registered in. For a list of MarketplaceId values, see Amazon MWS endpoints and MarketplaceId values in the Amazon MWS Developer Guide.

Type: xs:string

Subscription Specifies the NotificationType, Destination, and other parameters for notifications that you want to subscribe to. Yes Type: Subscription

Response elements

The CreateSubscription operation only returns the common response elements.
